Originally, this location was a swamp and later filled in. Tomiko’s Japenese Restaurant opened here in 1970 and lasted 17 years before it closed. This location became several other restaurants before Vin and Pat Massey opened Knapp’s Landing in 1997. Today, the reins have been turned over to the Massey family .
